Recently, several humanoid robot related enterprises and innovation centers have announced new products, services, and progress, and continue to tackle key technologies, deeply cultivate market innovation scenarios, and accelerate the industrialization development of humanoid robots. Experts say that with the inclusion of "embodied intelligence" in the government work report for the first time this year, humanoid robots, as a key carrier of embodied intelligence, have entered a critical development period of technological concentration breakthroughs and initial application trials, driven by huge potential market demand and deep empowerment of artificial intelligence technology. Currently, many companies are entering the field of robotics. On March 25th, vivo announced the establishment of its Robot Lab and disclosed for the first time its plans to enter the field of home robots. It is reported that the company will focus on incubating the "brain" (AI decision-making system) and "eyes" (spatial perception and visual system) of robots, targeting the consumer market and developing robot products for personal and household scenarios. Previously, Midea Group stated that it has established an innovation center for humanoid robots, focusing on the research and development of core components such as reducers, motors, sensors, and controllers. The prototype has now entered the internal trial stage. In addition, new products and skills of humanoid robots have been successively introduced. Jumping up, sideways, and drawing an arc in the air with lower limbs before landing and standing - Recently, Yushu Technology released a video of its humanoid robot G1 successfully completing a side flip, just half a month after the last G1 demonstrated its 720 degree spinning kick ability. Yushu Technology stated that during the development and filming of the program, there were no malfunctions or damages to G1. Zhiyuan Robotics has released three new products within two weeks. Among them, the newly developed all-round exploration robot Lingxi X2 adopts a flexible material shell and has 28 degrees of freedom throughout its body, achieving a comprehensive breakthrough in operation and control algorithms. By combining deep reinforcement learning and imitation algorithm learning, Lingxi X2 can complete high difficulty movements such as riding a skateboard, playing a balance bike, and riding a bicycle. In addition, the company has also released the Adversarial Data Collection (ADC) paradigm for data collection and released more training results of the General Embodied Base Model (GO-1), including completing tasks such as security checks, table cleaning, and supermarket settlements. Zhao Gang, the director of the Saizhi Industry Research Institute, believes that key technologies for humanoid robots include artificial intelligence, high-quality datasets, servo control, and motion control. The latest trends of enterprises reveal continuous innovation in cutting-edge technologies. For example, technological breakthroughs in servo control and motion control have led to increasingly improved performance of humanoid robots in motion control such as high-precision joint transmission, forward somersault, and aerial spinning and kicking. The increasingly abundant multi scenario action data collected by enterprises promotes the data annotation and training of humanoid robots, further enhancing their decision-making and behavioral abilities. At the same time as more flexible movements, humanoid robots are also smarter. Among them, the general intelligent platform has achieved new breakthroughs. Walking into the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center located in the Beijing Economic Development Zone, the reporter saw that during the process of chatting with the humanoid robot "Tiangong", the staff randomly built a building block sample. Then, "Tiangong" used the Visual Large Model (VLM) to disassemble the sample, accurately planned the construction sequence of each layer, picked up the corresponding building blocks accurately, and completed the millimeter level precise construction of three layers of building blocks in order. Tang Jian, Chief Technology Officer of Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, introduced that in order to fill the "puzzle" of universal software systems for the embodied intelligence industry, the innovation center recently officially launched the "One Brain Multi Energy" and "One Brain Multi Machine" universal embodied intelligence platform "Huisi Kaiwu", which is composed of an artificial intelligence big model driven task planning embodied "brain" and a data-driven end-to-end skill execution embodied "cerebellum" to achieve interaction between robots and the physical world. This platform integrates advanced cognitive functions such as perception, decision-making, language, learning, and motion control, which can enhance the efficiency of robots in executing complex tasks, reduce the threshold for robot development, and simplify the development process. In addition, the National and Local Collaborative Humanoid Robot Innovation Center located in Shanghai, together with Shanghai University and Tsinghua University, has jointly released the embodied intelligent simulation platform "Gewu". It integrates advanced reinforcement learning frameworks and multimodal motion control technology, with a set of code covering over a hundred robots. New robots can be imported and trained immediately without the need for reprogramming. Industry experts believe that continuous breakthroughs and developments in technology will enhance the application experience of humanoid robots in industrial production, smart logistics, home services and companionship, medical and health fields, and accelerate the industrialization process of humanoid robots. Related enterprises are also accelerating their exploration in application implementation. Recently, dozens of Ubiquitous industrial humanoid robots Walker S1 underwent collaborative training at the Jike 5G smart factory. In multiple complex scenarios such as the final assembly workshop, SPS instrument area, quality inspection area, and door assembly area, Walker S1 can closely cooperate, coordinate handling, precision assembly, and even assist each other in charging between robots. The industrial humanoid robot Walker S has received over 500 intention orders from car manufacturers and is currently in a critical stage of industrialization landing, "the relevant person in charge of Uber told reporters. It is worth noting that relevant policy deployments are expected to further promote the development of the humanoid robot industry. According to the "Guiding Opinions on the Innovation and Development of Humanoid Robots" previously released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, by 2025, the innovation system of humanoid robots will be initially established, the whole machine products will reach the international advanced level, and mass production will be achieved, which will be demonstrated and applied in special, manufacturing, livelihood services and other scenarios. By 2027, the humanoid robot industry will accelerate its large-scale development, with more diverse application scenarios and related products deeply integrated into the real economy, becoming an important new engine for economic growth.
