Colorful kites came to life in the hands of the children one by one. Subsequently, the children flew their handmade kites in the campus, filled with excitement and cheerfulness. Since the autumn of 2017, the "Cao's Kite" characteristic school-based curriculum, jointly developed by school art teachers and representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in Jiangsu Province and the fifth generation inheritor of Cao's paper art, has been applied in teaching. Every semester, we optimize and adjust the curriculum. 'Cao's Kite' characteristic course has different course arrangements for students in different stages, with courses divided into low, medium, and high school years, respectively setting up basic courses, excellent courses, and integrated courses. In order to better highlight the characteristics of the curriculum and form memory points, the school has also launched the "Shayan Family" series of courses. On the basis of the original foundation, we will conduct in-depth exploration from various aspects such as course content, practical methods, and integration methods around the most representative sand swallow kite in the "Cao's Kite". At present, the school has formed a series of characteristic courses focusing on juvenile swallows in the younger stage, young swallows in the middle-aged stage, and fat swallows and thin swallows in the older stage, allowing students to grow together with "sand swallows". In line with the curriculum, the school has also developed many practical activities, such as holding the campus "Kite Festival" in March every year and offering the "Ruirui Small Lecture Hall" to share and explore results. The school develops the curriculum as a comprehensive entity, excavating knowledge from various aspects such as aesthetic education, moral education, literature, geometry, physical education, and technology, allowing students to experience cultural charm in real comprehensive learning activities, and to inherit and develop excellent traditional Chinese culture unconsciously Yan Mengting said. Vice principal Heng Lei of the school said, "Strengthening practical activities for the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage during childhood is like sowing 'cultural seeds' in the heart. I believe that on the long road of growth, it will become an everlasting' cultural flower 'in children's hearts
