The reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that in 2024, more than 90% of the core indicators for key monitoring of China's digital industry will achieve a year-on-year increase, with business revenue of 35 trillion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 5.5%. Among them, the manufacturing and service sectors increased by 3.8% and 8.0% respectively, accounting for 59.6% and 40.4% respectively. The digital industry achieved a total profit of 2.7 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. The number of direct employees in the digital industry has reached 20.6 million. China has laid out and built a number of national level advanced manufacturing clusters around fields such as information and communication, new displays, and integrated circuits.
