The reporter recently learned from Erlian Customs that since the first China Europe freight train was opened in 2013, as of the end of February this year, the freight volume of China Europe freight trains at Erlianhaote Port in Inner Mongolia has exceeded 17 million tons, reaching 17.68 million tons, and 18161 trains have been operated. It is reported that Erenhot Port is the central channel of China Europe freight trains and the largest land port between China and Mongolia. Currently, the port connects more than 70 cities or stations in more than 10 countries for China Europe freight trains, radiating to more than 60 cities in 24 provinces in China. The number of operating routes has increased from 2 to 71, covering over 10000 types of goods such as new energy vehicles and accessories, high-end machinery and equipment. At present, there are 10 daily China Europe freight trains entering and leaving the port. To ensure the efficient operation of the China Europe freight train, Erlian Customs continuously deepens the construction of smart customs, actively promotes the operation mode of "railway entry rapid customs clearance", strengthens technological empowerment, comprehensively uses intelligent supervision equipment such as drones and all-weather multifunctional inspection vehicles to improve supervision efficiency, deepens the "7 × 24 hour" appointment customs clearance service, and ensures that the goods on the train are "delivered, inspected, and released on time".
