The product quality qualification rate of China's manufacturing industry is steadily increasing

The reporter recently learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation that by the end of 2024, the quality qualification rate of manufacturing products in China had reached 93.93%, the national manufacturing quality competitiveness index had increased to 85.6, and the satisfaction with the quality of life and public services remained in the "satisfactory" range. In 2024, the market supervision department will fully leverage the role of quality in the growth and strengthening of enterprises, the construction of industrial circles and chains, and the sustainable development of cities, and focus on carrying out the action of strengthening quality, enterprises, chains, and counties (districts, towns). The system has established the "Guidelines for Cultivating Leading Enterprises in Building a Quality Strong Country", which has supported the establishment of 889 quality and technology innovation consortia and assisted more than 600000 enterprises; 952 quality chain projects have been implemented nationwide, forming a list of 100 key quality chain projects nationwide; Build a digital service platform for quality strong counties (districts, towns), and 580 cities have launched the cultivation and construction of quality strong counties, districts, and towns. The State Administration for Market Regulation has also jointly implemented quality improvement actions with the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments, continuously improving the quality of products and services in China. The pass rate of food and drug sampling has reached 99%, and the satisfaction with service quality has maintained an upward trend for five consecutive years. In 2024, 2869 new national standards were approved and released, and 2372 "one-stop" service stations for quality infrastructure were built nationwide, continuously enhancing the efficiency of quality infrastructure services.
