The Central Economic Work Conference has placed "vigorously boosting consumption, improving investment efficiency, and expanding domestic demand in all directions" at the of the important tasks that need to be addressed at present. Expanding domestic demand and boosting consumption are not only effective ways to respond to external shocks and stabilize economic operations but also long-term strategies to enhance the initiative of development. Faced with the current domestic and foreign economic situation, how should we understand the problem of insufficient demand? should we grasp the evolution and upgrading trend of consumption structure? In fact, the consumption situation cannot be simply summarized by "downgrade of consumption" and "upgrade of". We need to deeply grasp the essence of consumption, systematically sort out the basic logic of consumption, and explore and clarify the overall idea of boosting consumption.
