The 14th Session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress held its first plenary meeting in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of the 24th. Chairman Zhao Leji presides over. 162 members of the Standing Committee attended the meeting, and the number of attendees met the statutory requirement. The meeting heard the report of Xin Chunying, chairman of the Constitution and Law Committee of the National People's Congress, on the revision of the draft law on the promotion of private economy. The second review of the draft further reflects the requirements of the Party Central Committee on building a high-level socialist market economy system and optimizing the development environment of the private economy; Add regulations that the State Council and local people's governments at or above the county level shall regularly report to the standing committee of the people's congress at the corresponding level on the promotion of the development of the private economy; Further enrich and improve the relevant content of legal protection; Add relevant regulations to leverage the role of industry associations and chambers of commerce in promoting the development of the private economy. In order to safeguard the sovereignty of national airspace and civil aviation rights, ensure the safe and orderly conduct of civil aviation activities, protect the legitimate rights and interests of all parties involved in civil aviation activities, and promote the high-quality development of civil aviation, the State Council has proposed a proposal to review the draft amendment to the Civil Aviation Law. An important task of this Standing Committee meeting is to prepare for the Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress. The meeting reviewed the draft of the work report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the proposals of the Chairman's Meeting on submitting the draft agenda for the third session of the 14th National People's Congress, the draft list of the presidium and the secretary-general, and the draft list of non voting persons. The meeting heard Yang Xiaochao, Chairman of the Credentials Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, report on the qualifications of individual representatives. The meeting also reviewed relevant appointment and removal proposals. Vice Chairmen of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Li Hongzhong, Wang Dongming, Xiao Jie, Zheng Jianbang, Ding Zhongli, Hao Mingjin, Cai Dafeng, He Wei, Wu Weihua, Tie Ning, Peng Qinghua, Zhang Qingwei, Luosangjiang Village, and Xuekelaiti Zaker, and Secretary General Liu Qi attended the meeting.
