Sitting on the snow circle and whistling down from the nearly kilometer long snow track, drinking a bowl of steaming delicious fish soup outdoors in the snow and ice, and making a string of Bingtanghulu under the guidance of the teacher, a group of tourists from Southeast Asia have had fun in Yichun Jinlin these days. This ice and snow season, Yichun Forest tourism has become popular internationally, attracting the attention of many foreign tourists and becoming a popular destination for cross-border tourism in Heilongjiang Province this winter. Since winter, the number of inbound tourists received in Yichun has increased by 382% year-on-year, showing an explosive growth trend. Tourists from over 30 countries and regions including Russia, the United States, and Southeast Asia flock to Yichun, affectionately calling it the "International Spring". After the Spring Festival, temperatures in most areas of Heilongjiang Province have warmed up, but Yichun, located on the northeastern border of China, is still covered in snow due to its high latitude and long snow period, providing ample time for tourists to enjoy the snow. A tourist from Thailand said, "I didn't expect to see such thick snow now. We had a great time." In order to provide tourists with a better travel experience, Yichun City has also carefully organized various cultural performances, promoted cultural exchanges, showcased local characteristics, and created new highlights of cultural tourism integration. At the Tielitong Mountain Scenic Area, the filming base of the TV drama "Green Mountains Don't Ink", tourists from all over the world put on Northeast Dahua jackets and red scarves to immerse themselves in the production and life of Northeast China's forest areas decades ago. When Zhang Daoting, a disciple of Ma Yongshun, shouted "Shun Shan Down" next to the underground cellar, the powerful forest chant echoed in the mountains. Despite the language barrier, the on-site tourists still rhythmically catered to Zhang Daoting's cries, immersing themselves in a heart stirring atmosphere. A tourist from Malaysia said, "The cultural experience here is so unique, I feel like I have traveled back to the forest life of the past." Old style baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, and Northeastern iron pot stew have conquered the taste buds of these overseas tourists. They are learning to say in Chinese, "Delicious, Ga Ga Xiang." Before the Spring Festival, more than 10 young tourists from Thailand, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the United States crossed thousands of mountains and rivers to Yichun, the capital of the forest, and embarked on a cultural observation and experience journey. At Jiayin Dinosaur National Geopark, they study dinosaur knowledge seriously, watch various dinosaur fossils, and experience interesting dinosaur games. At Xishui National Forest Park, foreign tourists feed the young deer on the pasture, ride on ice slides, go karting in the snow, play in the snow maze, and fully release their nature in the icy and snowy conditions, experiencing the winter scenery and charm of northern China. During the meal, they enjoyed the authentic Northeast dishes, such as the Steamed Pork, Pot Wrapped Pork, Fried River Fish, Braised pickled Chinese cabbage and so on. Since this year, Yichun City has actively explored the international market, carried out overseas marketing and promotion activities such as "Ice and Snow Luck · Meet Yichun", and interacted with multinational netizens on overseas social platforms, setting off a significant Internet boom. Up to now, multiple batches of foreign tourists from all over the world have come to Yichun. While they are playing in Yichun, they have created many short videos that have been widely spread on social media. A popular blogger from the United States said, "The ice and snow forest in Yichun has shocked me, and I want to share the beautiful scenery here with friends all over the world!" (Xinhua News Agency)
