On February 17th, the Cyberspace Administration of China held a meeting in Jinan, Shandong to promote the development of information technology. The meeting summarized and reviewed the informationization development work in 2024, analyzed the new situations and tasks faced, studied and discussed the informationization development ideas of the 15th Five Year Plan, and deployed and promoted the key informationization work in 2025. The meeting pointed out that 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's strategic goal of building a strong cyber nation. The national cyberspace system deeply implements the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives, adheres to integrity and innovation, takes proactive actions, continuously strengthens overall coordination work, makes breakthroughs in key and difficult work, demonstrates the effectiveness of technological innovation work, advances digital economy work, continuously deepens information benefiting the people, and achieves a series of new progress and achievements in information technology development. The meeting emphasized that 2025 is the year when the 14th Five Year Plan comes to an end and the year when the 15th Five Year Plan is laid out and planned.
