The Phase III renovation and expansion project of Sanya Phoenix International Airport will commence construction in May 2024 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. After the completion of the project construction, the total area of the airport terminal will reach 228000 square meters, meeting the guarantee demand of an annual passenger throughput of 30 million, which is conducive to accelerating the construction of an international aviation regional hub and an international tourism consumption center in Hainan.
