As the end of the year approaches, the construction of the Lion Ocean Passage is in full swing. The day before yesterday, under the full escort of the Dongguan Maritime Department, the Lion Ocean Channel Dongguan side lifting beam station was officially completed and put into use. On the same day, the steel shell of the Dongshotata column of the Shiziyang Bridge project was lifted by the lifting station and smoothly transported for installation, marking another step forward in the construction of the Shiziyang Passage. It is reported that the construction of the Dongshota lifting beam in the T9 section of the Lion Ocean Passage project took a total of 4 months. After being put into use, it will play an important role in accelerating the construction of the East Tower columns and beams. The lifting beam is 48 meters long and 28.5 meters wide, consisting of a steel pipe support frame, a horizontal connection, a collision prevention pier, a Bailey longitudinal beam, and a crane walking system. It is a 2000 ton cargo ship with a rated lifting power of 300 tons and a 7-meter center span beam transport trolley, which can meet the standard requirements for unloading the steel shell section of the East Cable Tower. In order to ensure the safe and efficient construction of the lifting station and the unloading of steel shell sections, the Dongguan Maritime Department visited the Shiziyang Channel project department to comprehensively understand the progress, difficulties, and actual needs of the bridge construction project, solicit opinions and suggestions from the construction unit and the construction unit on the construction of the maritime service guarantee project, and provide suggestions for the construction of the lifting station and the unloading of steel shell sections. It is understood that the Shiziyang Channel is an important strategic channel in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, which is of great significance in improving the traffic flow structure of Guangzhou Nansha and Dongguan on both sides of the the Pearl River, easing the traffic pressure of Humen Bridge and Nansha Bridge, building a 1-hour traffic circle in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and promoting the economic integration process of the Pearl River Delta.
