Chisinau News: Moldovan President Maya Sandu was sworn in at the Republic Palace in the capital city of Chisinau on the 24th, officially beginning her second presidential term. In the presence of Igor Grossu, the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament, and Domnica Manole, the President of the Constitutional Court, Sandu took the oath and signed the inauguration document. Sandu gave a speech on the same day, stating that she will focus on European integration, security, and prosperity during her tenure, and emphasized the importance of all citizens' participation in achieving these goals. Sandu, 52 years old, became the first female president in Moroccan history in 2020 and was re elected in the second round of presidential elections held in November this year. Sandu graduated from the Moldovan School of Economics in 1994, served as the Minister of Education of Moldova from 2012 to 2015, and as the Prime Minister of Moldova from June to November 2019.
