After the first Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation International Diagnosis and Treatment Center was put into operation in Nepal at the end of July, the Nepal Traditional Chinese Medicine International Diagnosis and Treatment Center was unveiled on December 23 at the Kathmandu Civil Service Hospital, which was built with Chinese assistance. It is reported that members of the Chinese medical team and Nepalese doctors of traditional Chinese medicine provide acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, scraping, cupping and other series of traditional Chinese medicine services in the center, providing new treatment options for Nepalese people, especially for the treatment of common and chronic diseases such as hemiplegia, facial paralysis, neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, which can show the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, the center will also help Nepal cultivate medical talents with traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment skills through physician training and medical equipment assistance. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony, saying that the establishment of the aid medical team to Nepal at the Civil Service Hospital and the Nepal International Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Center fully reflects the practical achievements of Prime Minister Oli's visit to China earlier this month, and further deepens the cooperation between China and Nepal in the field of medical and health care. Raj Kumar Gupta, Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration of Nepal, said in his speech that traditional Chinese medicine has a long history, and acupuncture and moxibustion, herbal medicine, dietotherapy, etc. have good effects. He hoped that civil service hospitals can use a variety of traditional Chinese medicine therapies to provide services for local people.
