On December 16, 2024, the Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River in Jixian County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, presented a spectacular scene of flowing ice. Recently, due to the continuous cooling weather, a large area of ice flow has appeared in the Hukou section of the Yellow River, and the rolling Yellow River water is rushing down with the ice flow. The splashing waves and mist condense into layers of ice on the rocks and guardrails on both sides, complementing the rainbow above the waterfall, making the Hukou Waterfall even more spectacular in winter.
