The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released the November China E-commerce Logistics Index on the 8th. With the continuous release of online consumer demand, China's e-commerce logistics index continued to rise month on month in November, reaching a new high in nearly seven years. The e-commerce logistics index in China in November was 115.5 points, an increase of 0.5 points from the previous month. Among the main sub indices, the total business volume index is 134.1 points, an increase of 0.4 points from the previous month. By region, the total e-commerce logistics business volume index has increased in all regions of the country, with the Northeast region showing the largest increase. In addition, due to the increase in business volume, the number of employees has also slightly increased. At the same time, the service efficiency of e-commerce logistics enterprises has been comprehensively improved. The satisfaction rate index, timeliness index, and fulfillment rate index have all increased compared to the previous month and remain at high levels. From the perspective of e-commerce consumption categories, there is a shift from focusing on traffic to prioritizing quality, expanding from food, clothing, and fast-moving consumer goods to various categories such as home appliances and digital products. While major e-commerce platforms bring more diversified choices to consumers, they also promote the development of the logistics industry towards a more specialized and refined direction, enhancing the stability and competitiveness of the entire industry supply chain. Liu Yuhang, Director of China Logistics Information Center, said that the e-commerce logistics index in November reached a new high in nearly 7 years, reflecting that the new consumption system mechanism is more perfect, the mode is more diversified, and the implementation is more convenient. The vitality of residents' consumption is increasing, which has played a driving role in the logistics demand of the e-commerce sector, reflecting that our national economy is in a sustained state of recovery.
