China's Reform and Modernization and New Opportunities for Global Development

The theme of the 2024 International Conference on Understanding China (Guangzhou) is "Carrying Reform to the - China's Modernization and New Opportunities for World Development", for which General Secretary Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter. The theme was chosen because today China is comprehensively deepening reform on the path of Chinese-style modernization. Further comprehensive reform not only relates to whether China can build a prosperous, democratic, civilized,ious and beautiful socialist modern power, but also to peace, development, cooperation and win-win results in the world. Therefore, the phrase "carrying reform to end" in the theme not only reflects our strong determination to fully promote the construction of a strong nation and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modern, but also our noble mission of actively promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. At present, in order to grasp the new opportunities for development in China's reform and modernization, there are three concepts we cannot fail to understand.
