In recent years, West Lake Primary School in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, has regarded local traditional drama Yue Opera as an important way to promote aesthetic education. It has established a campus opera corner, set up a campus drama theme day, and self compiled the school-based textbook "West Lake Yue Yun". The Yue Opera curriculum has been incorporated into the daily teaching of the school, and local intangible cultural heritage center opera celebrities are regularly invited to teach at the school. Through the innovative "drama+" integrated curriculum and activity mode, teachers and students are encouraged to participate in drama creation, hat making, face painting, and 3D design of opera characters, creating a strong atmosphere of drama culture.
