The press conference of the Information Office of the State Council held recently revealed that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will seize the major opportunity of the integration, application and innovation of the new generation of information technology and introduce high-quality development guidance actions for industrial Internet. As a product of the in-depth integration of the new generation of information technology and the real economy, the high-quality development of the industrial Internet will help further promote the in-depth integration of data and reality, promote the high-end, intelligent and green development of the industry, and is a strong support and key force for China's development of new quality productivity. For more than 10 years, China's industrial Internet has grown from scratch, from small to large, from construction to use, and its innovative development has been accelerating. According to the data of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the scale of China's core industry of industrial Internet has exceeded 1.35 trillion yuan. Industrial Internet has been fully integrated into 49 major categories of the national economy, achieving full coverage of 41 major industrial categories, and has achieved remarkable results in facilities system, technology system, application system, ecosystem, policy system, etc. At present, the total number of industrial Internet logo registrations has exceeded 510 billion, nearly 450000 service enterprises, nearly 340 influential industrial Internet platforms, and more than 96 million sets of industrial equipment connections. Industrial 5G chips, modules, industrial gateways, edge computing, intelligent terminals and other key technology products have made breakthroughs. At the same time, up to now, there have been more than 15000 "5G+Industrial Internet" projects. In key industries such as steel, electronic information and construction machinery, 40 typical scenarios have been created around key links such as product design, planning and scheduling, and quality control. The enabling effect of industrial Internet continues to expand to multiple economic units such as parks and clusters, and promotes the digital transformation of SMEs and the "intelligent transformation to digital networking" of manufacturing industry. Laws and regulations such as the Cyber Security Law and the Data Security Law have also been introduced in succession, the construction of the data infrastructure system has been accelerated, the industrial Internet innovation and development project, and the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry have been further promoted, providing policy support for the large-scale application and high-quality development of China's industrial Internet. It should also be noted that there are still some weaknesses in the development of China's industrial Internet. For example, the safety, breadth, and sustainability of development need to be improved, and in the practical process, there is a common problem of enterprises being afraid, unwilling, or unable to use it. The first reason is that China's core industrial software still has technology "choke" problem, industrial Internet platform has insufficient technology accumulation in operating system, virtualization technology, industrial mechanism model and other aspects, and the independent and controllable capability of technical security needs to be improved. Second, China's industrial system is complete, but the industrial demand is complex, the scene is scattered, and the recognition and progress of enterprise digital transformation are different, which increases the difficulty of standardization and large-scale application, leading to the lack of deep integration of industrial Internet and industry. Third, the industrial Internet platform has problems such as homogeneous competition, single profit model, and insufficient profitability. In addition, the shortage of compound talents also restricts the high-quality development of China's industrial Internet. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee proposed to accelerate the popularization and application of the new generation of information technology in all directions and in all chains, and develop the industrial Internet. At present, China's industrial Internet has entered a new stage of large-scale application and high-quality development. We should adhere to the coordinated promotion of "construction, use and research", open up the blockages and pain points of the universal application of the industrial Internet in all directions and all chains, and promote the "easy to use" and "good to use" of China's industrial Internet. Accelerate to consolidate the technical foundation of industrial Internet. Promote technical research in the fields of edge intelligent computing, industrial software development and application, and industrial big data analysis, and improve the supply level of key common technologies of industrial Internet. Accelerate the industrialization and application of a batch of technological breakthroughs. Improve the breadth and depth of industrial Internet convergence applications. High level construction of a number of national "5G+Industrial Internet" integrated application pilot areas. Give full play to the driving role of industry associations, leading enterprises, and chain owners, promote the collaboration and interconnection of upstream and downstream business in the industrial chain and supply chain, and continuously launch industry application models. Give full play to the role of parks, bases, clusters and other carriers to help more small and medium-sized enterprises "go online" and "go to the cloud". Build the foundation and support of industrial Internet. Implement the "Connect Identification" action, improve the construction of data infrastructure system, and promote the circulation and transaction of industrial data. Build a "comprehensive+characteristic+professional" platform system, and improve the service capacity and operation level of the industrial Internet platform. Accelerate the construction of new infrastructure for computing power, and strengthen the computing power support for the development of industrial Internet. Strengthen the construction of industrial Internet security system, and promote the hierarchical and classified management of industrial Internet security.
