Since its completion in 1912, it has witnessed every important moment in Shanxi's modern and contemporary financial history. Entering the Shanxi Financial History and Culture Museum, the museum traces the origin, development, and transformation of Shanxi's financial industry, divided into five exhibition areas: Shanxi Financial Origins, Republican Shanxi Finance, Shanxi Red Finance, Contemporary Shanxi Finance, and New Era Shanxi Finance. It provides valuable perspectives for understanding the past, present, and future of Shanxi's financial industry, plays an important role in promoting Shanxi's financial history and culture, and also provides a platform for financial practitioners, historical and cultural enthusiasts, and the public to deeply understand the development of Shanxi's financial history. It is reported that the pavilion was jointly built by the Financial Work Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, the Shanxi Branch of the People's Bank of China and the Bank of Shanxi. As a branch of the Shanxi Merchants Museum, it will be fully operated and maintained by the Shanxi Merchants Museum and open to the public free of charge. Zhang Wenqing told reporters that the Shanxi Financial History and Culture Museum will play a university role as a museum, deeply explore the connotation and value of Shanxi's financial culture, interpret the historical changes and development achievements of Shanxi's financial industry, and build an important bridge for spreading Shanxi's financial culture.
