With the adjustment of residents' income structure, the demand structure is constantly shifting from primary demand to advanced demand, and the industrial structure is also manifested as a transformation from the primary industry to the secondary industry and then to the tertiary industry. From 2012 to 2023, the proportion of China's primary industry in the total economy has decreased from 9.1% to 7.1%, the proportion of the secondary industry has decreased from 45.4% to 38.3%, and the proportion of the tertiary industry has increased from 45.5% to 54.6%, reflecting the continuous rationalization of the industrial structure.
