The State of Song Ci: The Beauty of China "showcases the cultural connotations of Song Dynasty charm through the scenery and scenery of Huzhou

Recently, the "State of Song Ci: Beauty of China" themed exhibition and the "Zhejiang Poetry Conference" (2024) award ceremony were held in Daixi Town, Wuxing District, Huzhou, the hometown of Zhu Zumou, a master of Chinese ci studies and the compiler of "Three Hundred Song Ci Poems". More than 300 guests, contestants, and representatives from award-winning units from all over the country participated in this event, bringing a successful conclusion to the "Zhejiang Poetry and Prose Competition" series of activities this year. Song Ci records and reflects the outstanding historical wisdom, rich interests and aspirations, and open and inclusive social style of the two Song dynasties. It is an excellent carrier that embodies the culture of Song rhyme. Huzhou is the birthplace, prosperity, and inheritance of Song Ci, witnessing the prosperity of Song Ci and exploring and practicing the contemporary transformation and development of this important literary form. The "Zhejiang Poetry Conference" has been held as the main event in Huzhou for two consecutive years, making the "Song Poetry State" truly a recognized cultural brand of Huzhou city in a way that is approachable and perceptible to the public, promoting the Song rhyme culture to come closer to people, into life, and reflect reality. The core theme of this event is "The State of Song Ci: The Beauty of China", echoing the city brand of "Seeing Beautiful China in Huzhou". Combined with the relevant connotations of Huzhou's election as the "East Asian Cultural Capital" in 2025, it showcases the beauty of ecological beauty, cultural heritage, life aesthetics, and cultural window through four chapters. Through poetry, especially Song Ci, it connects the iconic cultural elements of Huzhou throughout history and presents them in the form of poetry competitions, recitations, speeches, etc., fully leveraging the "window" role of poetry, highlighting the spiritual temperament of Huzhou, the "State of Song Ci", and showcasing the cultural connotation of Song Yun. During the competition, Lei Haiwei, the overall champion of the third season of the "Chinese Poetry Conference", and Liu Jianhua, the overall champion of the "Zhejiang Poetry Conference" in 2023, were specially invited as team leaders to lead representatives of outstanding contestants from previous years of the "Zhejiang Poetry Conference" in team competitions. Through three rounds of activities, including 1v1 competition questions, topic pursuit, and the first "Huzhou Poetry Flying Chess" in this event, the cultural elements of Huzhou that showcase the beauty of China were cleverly integrated. The atmosphere on site was tense and exciting, combining fun, knowledge, and interactivity. The two teams chased after each other, coordinated with the audience's interactive assistance, and won cheers from the audience. Tang Xuedong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Daixi Town, made a cultural window promotion of "Da Mei Daixi" at the event site, calling on famous poets, calligraphers, and painters from all over the country to come to the hometown of Zhu Zumou, the "first generation poet", to learn and create. The representative reciter performed a classic excerpt from Zhao Mengfu's "Wu Xing Fu". The speaker used poetry as a clue to narrate the beauty of ecological beauty and life aesthetics in Huzhou, leading the audience to appreciate the scenery, elegance, and charm of Huzhou. The performances "Daixi Mountain Song" and "Staring Still Young" selected by the Education Bureau of Wuxing District serve as the opening and ending programs, showcasing the local cultural characteristics and humanistic style through song and dance forms. At the event, the "Zhejiang Poetry Conference" launched the "Chinese Classic Enjoyment Reading" book exhibition, and 15 key publishing houses in Zhejiang Province exhibited 131 high-quality books on site. He Chengliang, President of the Zhejiang Publishing Workers Association, announced the list of award-winning books and publishers for the "Zhejiang Poetry Conference" good book recommendation activity and presented awards. A ceremony was also held on site to award the winners of the poetry creation competition and outstanding organizing units. The organizing committee gathers the outstanding poetry and painting works that have emerged since the establishment of the "Zhejiang Poetry Competition" three years ago, compiles and distributes a collection of creative achievements for on-site distribution. The event is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese Poetry Research Institute, and the Zhejiang Provincial Museum of Culture and History.
