2024 is a fruitful year for cooperation in the 'Global South'. As an important member of the "Global South" family, China has always taken practical actions to promote the unity, self-improvement, and development revitalization of developing countries. From the grand commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the publication of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, to the successful convening of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China Arab Cooperation and the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, to support Russia in hosting the "Great BRICS" Summit, and to support Brazil and Peru in hosting the G20 Summit and the APEC Informal Leaders' Meeting respectively, China is committed to building a platform for strengthening solidarity and cooperation among developing countries, building consensus, adding fruitful results, and opening up a Chinese path to bring together the "Global South". Adhere to mutual respect and work together to take a modernization path that suits our own national conditions. Faced with changes in the world, the times, and history, some Western countries stubbornly adhere to double standards, pointing fingers everywhere, bullying the weak, and using wealth to bully the poor. However, many developing countries are passively attacked due to a lack of ability to maintain their own security and international discourse power, facing development difficulties. As the largest developing country, China has successfully walked out of the development path of Chinese path to modernization, broken the myth that "modernization is westernization", expanded the path choice of developing countries towards modernization, advocated respecting countries' independent choice of their own modernization path, promoted mutual inclusion, exchange and dialogue, harmonious coexistence of different social systems, and provided a value guide for developing countries to deepen solidarity and cooperation. Adhere to mutual benefit and win-win results, and persistently promote pragmatic cooperation. In recent years, the trend of anti globalization has surged, the open consensus has been continuously weakened, the localization and regionalization of the global supply chain have become obvious, and the gap between the North and the South has further widened. As the world's second-largest economy, China adheres to global development initiatives, promotes the construction of an open world economy, and does not engage in discriminatory or exclusive standards, rules, or systems, nor does it create high barriers that divide trade, investment, and technology. China firmly upholds the interests and ties between developing countries and countries around the world, and is widely regarded by countries in the South as a "contributor of opportunities" and a "source of hope". China actively aligns global development initiatives with important international development agendas such as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and promotes the protection of the rights and interests of developing countries. Jointly building the "the Belt and Road" has become the most popular international public goods by building a cooperation platform for all countries and sharing development opportunities with all parties. The implementation of the "Eight Major Joint Actions" between China and Arab countries has been accelerated, the "Ten Major Partnership Actions" between China and Africa have been steadily promoted, and new achievements have been made in the construction of the China Latin America community with a shared future, setting a mutually beneficial cooperation model for developing countries. China also actively supports the expansion of cooperation mechanisms such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, jointly cultivating market demand, injecting strong momentum, and effectively improving the development quality of developing countries. Adhere to fairness and justice, actively participate in leading the reform of the global governance system. With the accelerated evolution of the world's century long changes, multiple contradictions are intertwined and stacked, coordination and cooperation among major powers are weakened, governance deficits are becoming increasingly prominent, and the reform and improvement of the global governance system are facing challenges. As a founding member of the United Nations and a permanent member of the Security Council, China has always adhered to the global governance concept of consultation, joint construction, and shared benefits, firmly upheld the international system with the United Nations at its core, promoted democratization of international relations, advocated for increasing the representation and voice of developing countries, and enabled them to play a greater role in international affairs. Not long ago, China established the "Friends of Peace" group on the Ukraine crisis with Brazil and other like-minded countries in the "Global South". This is a powerful example of the efforts of southern countries to promote political solutions to hot issues, further maintaining and strengthening the "Southern forces" of peace and security. Persist in mutual learning of civilizations and jointly prosper the world civilization garden. In the face of certain countries' insistence on "cultural superiority" and deliberate creation of "cultural barriers", China implements the Global Civilization Initiative, respects and safeguards the diversity of world civilizations, and promotes cultural exchanges, mutual learning, coexistence and common prosperity. In recent years, the "Digital Intelligence Hualiu" represented by "small and beautiful" digital platforms and intelligent applications has continued to empower the construction of independent media platforms in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and other regions, accelerating the dialogue between countries and people in the "Global South", and providing convenience for southern countries to better write their own cultural narratives and expand cultural exchanges. Having the right way of communication, sharing the same interests for thousands of miles, fixed in adhesive paint, and firm in gold and stone.
