The survey results show that the participation rate of Chinese residents in sports and fitness activities is 49.6%, an increase of 18.7 percentage points from 2018. Fourth, informatization accelerates the popularization of the Internet. The survey results show that the average daily time of Internet users is 5 hours and 37 minutes, an increase of 2 hours and 55 minutes over 2018; The participation rate of Internet use activities was 92.9%, 35.9 percentage points higher than that in 2018. The increase in Internet use duration and participation rate reflects the closer connection between the production and life of Chinese residents and the Internet. For example, the survey scope was expanded from about one-third of the country to 31 provinces (regions, cities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, using a unified sampling method to select 38500 urban and rural households, with a total of 107000 people participating in the survey.
