During the meeting with Muti, Han Zheng stated that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Xi Jinping, political mutual trust between China and Zambia has continued to deepen, and practical cooperation has achieved tangible results. Two days ago, the two heads of state exchanged congratulatory messages to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Zambia. China is willing to work with Zambia to firmly support each other on issues involving each other's core interests and major concerns, follow the important consensus of the two heads of state, implement the outcomes of the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, improve the level of cooperation in trade and investment, infrastructure construction, health care and other fields, enhance mutual understanding and affinity, and promote the building of a closer China Zambia community of shared future.
Muti said that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Zambia and China, and the friendship between the two countries is strong and powerful. During the meeting with Philemon, Han Zheng stated that China is a firm supporter and active contributor to the cause of the United Nations. The United Nations is the banner of multilateralism. President Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized that the role of the United Nations can only be strengthened, not weakened. Next year marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. China supports the core role of the United Nations in international affairs, advocates upholding fairness and justice, and maintains peace and security; Adhere to universal inclusiveness and promote common development; Adhere to multilateralism and improve global governance. China will always firmly uphold the authority and status of the United Nations, actively participate in global governance reform and construction, and promote the development of the global governance system towards a more just and reasonable direction.
Philemon stated that China is a major power that holds high the banner of the United Nations. The United Nations will follow General Assembly Resolution 2758 and adhere to the One China principle. The United Nations is willing to strengthen cooperation with China and make greater contributions to maintaining international peace and promoting common development.
