The people's position is the fundamental political position of the CPC, and it is a significant sign that a Marxist party is different from other parties. Since its birth, the CPC has placed the people at the top of its heart, insisted on serving the people wholeheartedly, and shared a common destiny and heart to heart with the people. The tremendous changes that have taken place in the 75 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China are a historical witness to our party's unity and leadership of the people, closely relying on their unremitting struggle to achieve brilliant achievements. At the reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, President Xi stressed that "to promote Chinese path to modernization, we must adhere to the people as the center." Today, the horn of Chinese path to modernization to comprehensively promote the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation has sounded. We must always remember the fundamental purpose of the Party and the nature of the country, remember that the people are supreme, everything is for the people, everything depends on the people, and strive to let all people share the fruits of reform and development in the common struggle. Adhere to putting the people at the center and always keep in mind the original aspiration and mission. As a party armed with Marxism, our party has always taken it as its original mission to seek happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation. The over 100 year history of the Party is a history of fulfilling the Party's original aspiration and mission. We should be soberly aware that the CPC represents the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people, has no special interests of its own, and never represents the interests of any interest group, any power group, or any privileged class. This is the fundamental reason for the Party's invincibility. To meet their desire for a happy life is our mission. President Xi pointed out: "Our people love life, expect better education, more stable work, more satisfactory income, more reliable social security, higher level of medical and health services, more comfortable living conditions, more beautiful environment, and hope that children can grow better, work better, and live better." On the new journey, we should take the original mission as the guide, always maintain the progressiveness and purity of the Party, always maintain the childlike heart of the people, adhere to the realization of the people's aspirations for a better life as the starting point and end point of all work, and let the people have more sense of gain, happiness, and security. Adhere to putting the people at the center and firmly stand firm on the people's position. People's nature is the essential attribute of Marxism, and the people's standpoint is the fundamental standpoint of Marxism. Comrade Mao Zedong pointed out: "We stand in the position of the proletariat and the masses of the people. For Communists, that is to say, we should stand in the position of the Party, stand in the position of the Party spirit and the Party's policies." Always stand in the position of the masses of the people, never deviate from, never waver in this position, and sincerely work for the interests of the people, which is the fundamental requirement for the CPC to adhere to the Marxist position. The people are the creators of history and the true heroes. Only by standing on the side of the people can we stand on the correct side of history. In the new era and new journey, the central task of the Party is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups in building a strong socialist modernization country in an all-round way, achieve the second century goal, and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization. Promoting Chinese path to modernization is an unprecedented pioneering undertaking. China's 1.4 billion plus people need to step into a modern society as a whole, which is larger than the total population of the existing developed countries. It is unprecedented in difficulty and complexity. To achieve this sacred and arduous task, we must widely gather consensus, seek the greatest common divisor, and draw the greatest concentric circle. As long as we gather the great power of hundreds of millions of Chinese people, the grand blueprint of Chinese path to modernization will surely become reality. Adhere to the people-centered approach and faithfully implement the mass line. Our party comes from the people, is rooted in the people, and serves the people. The mass line is the lifeline and fundamental work line of the party, and it is the heirloom for the party to maintain its youthful vitality and combat effectiveness forever. The environment and conditions for doing a good job in mass work in the new era are changing. We must be good at asking the people for their needs and advice through various online and offline methods and channels, so that our work always responds to the voice of the people and reflects their wishes. We should immerse ourselves in the masses, go to the grassroots, go to the scene, go to places with great difficulties and contradictions, and focus on solving the most concerned, direct, and practical problems of the people, so as to understand the people's situation, solve their worries, and warm their hearts. We must persist in maintaining and improving people's livelihoods in development, continuously making new progress in providing education for young children, education for learning, employment opportunities, medical care for the sick, elderly care, housing, and assistance for the weak, and promoting social equity and justice. We must take the people's support, approval, happiness, and agreement as the fundamental criteria for measuring the gains and losses of all work, continuously rectify the "four winds" problem, take seriously any issues strongly reflected by the masses, and resolutely correct any behavior that harms the interests of the masses, so as to achieve, maintain, and develop the fundamental interests of the broadest masses of the people with practical work results.
