According to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council on Supporting Some Universities and Central Enterprises to Pilot the Co construction of National Excellent Engineering Colleges, and in consultation with the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Education has decided to support some universities and enterprises to jointly build the third batch of National Excellent Engineering Colleges. Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the third batch of universities for the construction of National Excellent Engineering Colleges, with a total of 8 universities selected. The third batch of National Excellent Engineering College construction universities includes Beijing Jiaotong University, North China Electric Power University, Northeastern University, Shandong University, Wuhan University of Technology, Hunan University, Central South University, and Southwest Jiaotong University.
