On September 29th, with a long whistle, the 10th generation "Communist Youth League" locomotive - FXN3C locomotive 0001, slowly drove out of Baotou West Locomotive Depot of China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd. and headed towards Linha Railway. This marks the successful completion of the 9th upgrade of China Railway's first "Communist Youth League" locomotive. In order to enhance the freight transportation capacity of the Linha Railway, the locomotive model of the "Communist Youth League" has been changed from DF4DK to FXN3C. The FXN3C diesel locomotive is a new generation product independently developed by China, which has advantages such as strong power, wind and sand resistance, high cold resistance, and environmental intelligence. The "Communist Youth League" locomotive, after being upgraded, slowly drove out of the maintenance workshop. In 1960, the youth demonstration team construction type 5516 locomotive set of the Erjiahai locomotive depot (predecessor of Baotouxi locomotive depot) was approved by the National Railway Youth League Committee and the former Ministry of Railways locomotive bureau, and named the "Communist Youth League" locomotive set, marking the birth of China's first "Communist Youth League" locomotive. Over the past 64 years, the "Communist Youth League" locomotive has been replaced 9 times according to the transportation and production needs of different periods, from the initial steam locomotive to the internal combustion locomotive, and then to the new generation of mainline freight internal combustion locomotives that have been upgraded this time; Since its establishment, the "Communist Youth League" locomotive crew has safely traveled a total of 6.255 million kilometers.
