The reporter learned at the press conference of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade that in August, the issuance of various certificates by the national trade promotion system increased by 3.28% year-on-year. These certificates are a barometer reflecting the trend of China's foreign trade, and their growth shows a good trend of stable growth in China's foreign trade exports. Data shows that in August 2024, the national trade promotion system issued a total of 588000 certificates of origin, ATA Carnets, commercial certificates, and other types of certificates, a year-on-year increase of 3.28%, which is consistent with China's August export growth of 8.7%. The preferential certificate of origin visa amount for the national trade promotion system was 6.337 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 12.74%. The number of RCEP certificates of origin visas in the national trade promotion system was 23553, a year-on-year increase of 8.85%. Spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Wang Linjie, stated that the export destinations include 11 member countries such as Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Vietnam, indicating that the policy dividends of RCEP continue to empower China's foreign trade enterprises.
