The ceremony for awarding National Medals and Honorary Titles of the People's Republic of China was held grandly in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of the 29th. At around 9 o'clock, recipients of national medals and honorary titles collectively departed from their residences in a ceremonial car and were escorted by a convoy of ceremonial motorcycles to the Great Hall of the People. Outside the east gate of the Great Hall of the People, ceremonial soldiers lined up on both sides of the road, and young people cheered and greeted warmly. The recipients of national medals and honorary titles climb up the red carpet and enter the Great Hall of the People. The relevant leaders of the Party and State Merit and Honor Commendation Working Committee are here to collectively welcome their arrival.
The golden hall of the Great Hall of the People has a solemn and warm atmosphere. On the huge red background board, the patterns of the Republic Medal, Friendship Medal, and National Honor Medal shine brightly. In front of the background board, 18 bright five starred red flags stand on both sides, and 18 heroic and upright ceremonial soldiers stand with guns.
At 9:58, amidst the cheerful music, Xi Jinping entered the venue with the recipients of national medals and honorary titles. The audience stood up and applauded warmly.
