The 2024 Shenyang Korea Investment and Trade Expo and Shenyang Korea Week event opened on the 26th at the Shenyang New World Expo Center. The relevant person in charge of the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce stated that economic and trade cooperation is the "ballast stone" for China South Korea cooperation. As the second largest source of foreign investment and the fifth largest trading partner of Shenyang, South Korea is an important partner and growth engine for the development of Shenyang's open economy. During this year's Korea Week, economic and trade exchange activities such as symposiums between Shenyang and key Korean enterprises were planned and arranged around the needs of economic and trade development and industrial cooperation between Shenyang and South Korea. In addition to special economic and trade activities, this year's South Korean cycle has also carefully planned 7 cultural, sports exchange and consumption promotion activities, such as the China South Korea Food Festival, which will be held at the "Foodie Paradise" Xita Korean Ethnic Style Street; DIY production experience and Korean cuisine tasting activities will present a unique feast in an immersive and interactive way; The China Korea Art Exhibition will invite artists from both countries to collaborate and further promote deep cultural exchanges between China and South Korea. Since its establishment in 2002, Korea Week has been successfully held for 20 sessions and is a brand event for cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and culture between China and South Korea.
