On September 24th, 2024, the "Youth and Sea" Talent and Technology Week - China Ningbo (Xiangshan) Marine Economy High level Youth Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals were held. On the final stage, the project team comprehensively elaborated on the core competitive technologies, business models, market potential, and other aspects of the project in the form of a "10 minute roadshow+5-minute defense". It is reported that the final award-winning projects that meet the requirements of Xiangshan's annual talent introduction announcement can be directly recognized as selected entrepreneurial teams and innovative talents at the corresponding level of the "Peninsula Elite Project", and will receive comprehensive and full cycle support in project funding, venue support, credit financing support, development rewards, and salary subsidies. As a professional brand competition for innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of marine economy, the China Ningbo (Xiangshan) Marine Economy High level Youth Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been held twice in a row, attracting a group of high-quality talent projects to take root in Xiangshan. This competition, with the theme of "Youth and the Sea, Building Dreams in Blue", has once again set off. It has set up special sessions for fund investment projects and innovative talents, focusing on eight new industrial tracks of "having both talents and a lifetime of happiness", and recruiting participating projects from home and abroad. Since its launch, the competition has collected 86 fund investment projects and 262 innovative talent projects from all over the country. After initial project review and preliminary competition, a total of 10 fund investment projects and 10 innovative talent projects stood out and advanced to the finals. Nowadays, the Ningbo Marine Economy Development Demonstration Zone has entered physical operation, and Xiangshan County's demand for promoting the transformation and upgrading of the marine economy industry is becoming increasingly urgent. Xiangshan is gathering to build a leading demonstration zone for new quality productivity in the marine economy, focusing on four major areas: Xiangshan Port Port Equipment, Damu Bay Marine Science and Technology Innovation, Shipu Port Modern Fishing Port, and Nantian Island Clean Energy.
