Does' no bad words' mean loving school education?

2024-09-24

Recently, a school principal publicly warned parents during a parent teacher conference that "loving school education should start from the family and parents. Whoever speaks ill of the school should be attacked by the group." This statement immediately sparked controversy. It is reported that after investigation, the local education bureau has requested the school principal to conduct a review and apologize to the parents. The anti campus bullying commitment letter of 'resolutely not taking photos or recording videos' has just been ordered to rectify, and now there is a blatant' threatening warning ', which is truly thought-provoking. Not to mention who should define 'what words are bad', the posture of 'attacking in groups' is enough to confuse people - is this a campus or a martial arts world? Taking a step back, if someone with ulterior motives is really digging up trouble and spreading rumors, damaging the reputation of the school, then the normal legal procedures should be taken to resolve this "matter" instead of forming cliques to attack this "person". The difference in one word has completely changed its nature. If the mentality of "not taking photos in the face of campus bullying" is mostly influenced by the mentality of "not exposing family secrets", then "speaking ill of oneself will be attacked by the crowd" has a more "tiger butt untouchable" flavor - adding an inexplicable arrogance of power, not only wanting to "shut up", but also wanting to "slap the mouth" and "see who dares to speak too much". In fact, this kind of extreme reaction to "bad words" is just another form of "covering up". The mentality of avoiding illness and seeking medical treatment, and not tolerating criticism from others, is unacceptable. To put it bluntly, this set of "gag orders" like rhetoric is even more of a domineering "lazy government" - thinking that without hearing any "bad words", families and schools can "work together". I even thought that killing all bad words could nip any negative issues in the bud. Either avoid it if necessary, or launch a collective attack, which not only does not help solve practical problems, but may also exacerbate mutual distrust, and is more likely to backfire, turning small things into big ones. Loving school is not about silencing others or covering one's own ears. In reality, it is precisely because of their strong desire for love that many people speak ill of those who are deeply responsible. To truly love a school, one should constantly remind and urge it to become better. Just thinking about "covering up" and "sealing up" is not loving the school, but harming it. (New Society)
