If the mandatory national standard for soybeans is revised and the quality index of "damaged grain rate" is scientifically adjusted, the proportion of internal soybeans can be increased from 66% to 90%. This is not only conducive to mobilizing farmers' enthusiasm for planting grain, but also effectively increasing the purchase of grain sources and promoting grain conservation and loss reduction. In terms of storage, Xu Guangchao stated that the National Grain and Material Reserves Administration adheres to a green orientation and reduces losses. It has issued industry standards such as the "Technical Regulations for Carbon Dioxide Modified Atmosphere Grain Storage", "Technical Regulations for Nitrogen Modified Atmosphere Grain Storage", and "Technical Regulations for Inert Powder Grain Storage Insect Prevention", which reduce the occurrence of pests and diseases through green insecticidal technology, reduce grain losses in the storage process, and effectively improve the level of green grain storage. In the processing stage, Xu Guangchao pointed out that we should adhere to moderate processing and promote nutrition and health, focusing on two aspects. On the one hand, for the processed products, we should guide processing enterprises to avoid excessive processing by setting reasonable processing accuracy and other indicators, and drive consumers to change their excessive pursuit of the concept of "refined rice and white flour". For example, the national standard for "Rice" guides enterprises to process rice moderately by setting an upper limit on processing accuracy, which not only preserves more of the nutritional components of rice, but also increases the total rice yield by 1.25 percentage points. On the other hand, it is important to focus on standardizing product processing techniques, "said Xu Guangchao. Up to now, the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau has promoted the release of nearly 30 standards for woody oil oils and fats, including Camellia oleifera seed oil, Peony seed oil, and olive oil and olive fruit residue. Secondly, increase the effective supply of whole grain standards. Regarding how to further leverage the role of standards in promoting grain conservation and reducing losses, Xu Guangchao pointed out that firstly, we need to focus on the revision of key standards. Strengthen the moderate processing of bulk grain and oil, revise the standards for whole grains, strengthen the revision of advanced and applicable green grain storage technology standards, and accelerate the upgrading of technical standards for grain and oil machinery and equipment. Secondly, we need to strengthen the implementation and enforcement of standards. Carry out pilot projects for moderate processing standardization of grain and oil, promote grain and oil product processing enterprises to actively adopt grain saving and loss reduction standards, and promote technological upgrading of grain machinery production enterprises.
