Focused ultrasound ablation surgery is a non-invasive treatment method that focuses ultrasound emitted from outside the body on the target tissue in the body. By utilizing the mechanical, thermal, and cavitation effects of ultrasound, it instantly generates high temperatures ranging from 65 ℃ to 100 ℃, causing irreversible coagulation necrosis of the target tissue. The entire treatment process is non-surgical, bloodless, and radiation free. Only a one-time "conformal" ablation is performed on the diseased tissue, which can preserve the normal tissue and organ structure and function intact. Professor Wang Zhibiao, director of the State Key Laboratory of Ultrasound Medical Engineering and the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrasound Medicine, led the Haifu team to independently develop the "Haifu Knife" focused ultrasound tumor treatment system, which won the second prize of the the State Technological Innovation Award of China and other awards. They have decided to bring this technology back to Vietnam for clinical treatment.
