On the morning of September 2nd, President Xi Jinping met with Congolese President Tshisekedi at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation.

The many consensuses we reached at that time have already been implemented, and the pragmatic cooperation between the two countries in various fields has made rapid progress, benefiting both sides and having strategic significance, becoming a model for developing countries to work together to promote modernization. China is promoting Chinese path to modernization in an all-round way with high-quality development, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo is entering a new stage of national development and revitalization. The two countries are fellow travelers on the road of modernization, and should be close friends with common aspirations, beneficial friends for mutual benefit and win-win results, and friends seeking peace. China supports Congo in safeguarding national sovereignty and achieving independent development. We are willing to consolidate political mutual trust, firmly support each other, seek common development, deepen cooperation in agriculture, mineral processing, vocational training and other fields, and continue to help Congo transform its resource advantages into development momentum.
Xi Jinping emphasized that both China and Africa will determine a new position for China Africa relations at this summit, announce a series of major measures to jointly promote modernization, and jointly draw up a new blueprint for the development of China Africa relations. China is willing to seize historical opportunities, strengthen strategic mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, work together to promote China Africa cooperation, jointly safeguard the common interests of developing countries, and promote the "global South" countries to seek peace and development in the world's major changes.
Zisekdi stated that the relationship between China and Congo is like brothers, with a strong and sincere friendship. Bilateral cooperation is based on equality, respect, and high mutual trust, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results. The Congolese side admires President Xi Jinping's outstanding leadership and hopes to learn from China's successful experience, regard China as the top priority partner for cooperation, and continuously deepen friendship and pragmatic cooperation in various fields. Thank you for supporting the Democratic Republic of Congo in safeguarding its national sovereignty and independence. The Democratic Republic of Congo firmly adheres to the One China policy and recognizes Taiwan as an integral part of China's territory. During the summit, China and Congo will sign multiple bilateral cooperation documents in areas such as joint development of economic partnership, human resources development, customs capacity building, and news.
