The reporter learned from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China that recently, the first flight test subject approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China for the independently developed large amphibious aircraft AG600- airspeed calibration flight - was successfully completed at the Pucheng National Civil Aircraft Flight Test Base in Shaanxi Province. Airspeed calibration test flight is the first test flight subject after the AG600 aircraft enters the type inspection and approval certificate. Through flight tests, the correction amount of airspeed indication, barometric altitude, temperature, and angle of attack can be determined to verify its compliance with airworthiness standards. Parameters such as speed and altitude are key inputs required for multiple systems, and calibration can improve measurement accuracy, reduce errors, and enable pilots to make more accurate decisions. Through this test flight subject, the parameters of the surrounding atmospheric environment can be accurately obtained and processed, which is of great significance for ensuring the maneuverability and stability of the aircraft, optimizing aircraft performance, adapting to environmental changes, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of subsequent flights.
