Malaysia is the first ASEAN country to establish diplomatic relations with China, and one of the first countries to respond to the "the Belt and Road" initiative. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. This year, lychee from Guangdong Province was exported to the Malaysian market for the first time, becoming a "sweet bond" in China Malaysia relations.
