The 5th China (Gansu) Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Expo recently opened in Longxi County, Gansu Province. At the opening ceremony and industrial cooperation conference, a total of 117 investment promotion projects for the traditional Chinese medicine industry chain were signed, with a signing amount of 20.34 billion yuan. The number and amount of project signings increased by 80% and 98.2% respectively compared to the previous session. At this year's Pharmaceutical Expo, there were 54 signed projects worth over 100 million yuan, with a total signing amount of 17.79 billion yuan, accounting for 46.2% and 87.5% of the signed projects and signing amount respectively. The investment promotion and signing projects cover various links of the traditional Chinese medicine industry chain, including the cultivation, processing, storage and circulation of Chinese medicinal materials, as well as traditional Chinese medicine health and wellness, providing strong support for the construction of the entire traditional Chinese medicine industry chain development system in Gansu Province.
