As an important stopover on the migration route of migratory birds from East Asia to Australia, Hengshui Lake National Nature Reserve in Hebei Province is an important habitat and breeding ground. Since March this year, the spring and summer breeding season is coming to an end, and more than 40 species of summer migratory birds have bred tens of thousands of offspring in Hengshui Lake. Located in Hengshui City, Hebei Province, Hengshui Lake is a national nature reserve in the North China Plain that maintains complete wetland ecosystems such as marshes, waters, mudflat, meadows and woodlands, and enjoys the reputation of "the most beautiful wetland in Beijing Tianjin Hebei" and "East Asia sapphire". In recent years, after a series of protection and restoration efforts, the ecological environment of Hengshui Lake has significantly improved. In June of this year, it was selected as one of the first six "Bird Paradise" in Hebei Province, with 334 species of birds. In addition, Hengshui Lake has abundant plant resources, reaching 594 species. (New Society)
