In order to tackle the bottleneck problem in the construction of intelligent medical examination and accelerate the transformation and landing of innovative achievements in medical examination artificial intelligence (AI), the 2024 "Yu Jian Cup" Medical Examination AI Developer Competition was officially launched on August 14, 2024, jointly organized by Guangzhou Jinyu Medical Inspection Group Co., Ltd. and Tencent Medical Health (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. under the guidance of Guangzhou Science and Technology Bureau. This year marks the third consecutive year that Jinyu Medical has held the "Yujian Cup". The first two editions of the competition attracted over 1600 teams from around the world, submitting nearly 7000 entries, making it one of the most eye-catching AI innovation events in the domestic medical examination industry. Starting from the technical difficulties in the implementation of smart medical examination, this competition focuses on key application scenarios such as rare disease diagnosis, and introduces 6 questions to attract developers from all walks of life to form teams and take the lead. The competition lasts for one year, and the winner can receive a maximum prize of 100000 yuan. They will also have the opportunity to cooperate with Jinyu Medical in data mining, artificial intelligence algorithm research and development, and application promotion, accelerating the formation of new quality productivity in the industry. However, due to factors such as low standardization of data, high requirements for interpretability and accuracy, and scarcity of cross disciplinary professionals, medical AI still faces many "bottleneck" challenges.
