It is reported that the National Games and the National Paralympic Games will be held simultaneously and in the same location. The Macau region will host four competition events and one mass event of the National Games, as well as two competition events of the National Paralympic Games, totaling seven different types of sports events. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a committee covering both sports events to replace the existing Macau region committee of the National Games. The organizing committee established this time is still chaired by the Secretary for Social and Cultural Affairs of the Special Administrative Region Government. On the 14th, the "Macao Special Administrative Region Gazette" also published the Chief Executive's Order No. 136/2024, establishing the Preparatory Office for the 15th National Games, the 12th National Para Games, and the 9th Special Olympics Macao Division.
