In July, due to insufficient market demand and international input factors, the Producer Price Index (PPI) of Guangdong's industrial sector decreased by 1.3% year-on-year, but remained unchanged month on month. From the month on month index, the prices of production materials decreased by 0.1%, while the prices of living materials increased by 0.3%. Among the 38 major industries surveyed by PPI, the month on month index showed a rise of 21, a decrease of 5, and a rise of 55.3%, an increase of 26.4 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, due to international input factors, prices in the oil and gas extraction industry, non-ferrous metal mining and beneficiation industry, and black metal mining and beneficiation industry have all increased. The weak market demand for cement products, glass manufacturing and other products has affected the price decline of non-metallic mineral products industry. After the mid year promotion, car companies adjusted their factory prices, causing a 0.9% increase in prices in the automotive manufacturing industry.
