On July 26th, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a symposium with non party members in Zhongnanhai to listen to the opinions and suggestions of the central committees of various democratic parties, the heads of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and representatives of non party individuals on the current economic situation and economic work in the second half of the year.
Li Qiang, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, and Ding Xuexiang, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, attended the symposium. Li Qiang was commissioned by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to report on the economic work in the first half of the year and introduce relevant considerations for the economic work in the second half of the year.
At the symposium, Zheng Jianbang, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Revolution, Ding Zhongli, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of China, Hao Mingjin, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of China, Cai Dafeng, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, He Wei, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Agricultural and Labor Party, Jiang Zuojun, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Zhigong Party, Wu Weihua, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, Su Hui, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Taiwan Democratic. They fully agree with the analysis and judgment of the current economic situation by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the planning and consideration of economic work in the second half of the year. They have put forward opinions and suggestions on further deepening reforms comprehensively, promoting high-level opening up to the outside world, consolidating the industrial and technological foundation of new quality productivity, deepening the reform of the scientific and technological system, promoting the reform of natural resource management, coordinating the development of the biomanufacturing industry, supporting the transformation and upgrading of Taiwan funded electronic information industry in mainland China, stabilizing employment and expanding employment opportunities for young people, increasing efforts to promote consumption policies, supporting the healthy development of enterprises and real estate industry, and further boosting confidence in the development of the private economy.
He stated that in the first half of this year, under the strong leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, facing the complex and ever-changing domestic and international situation, we withstood pressure, took active measures, strengthened macroeconomic regulation, deepened reform and opening up, effectively responded to risks and challenges, and the economy continued to recover and improve, taking new steps towards high-quality development.
We must strengthen our confidence in development, maintain strategic determination, actively respond to problems and challenges, and sing the Chinese economic light with concrete and high-quality development achievements.
