The white paper released on the forum pointed out that in recent years, Xizang has continuously made new achievements in infrastructure and data resource system construction, digital efficiency improvement, digital industry development and other aspects. By the end of 2023, Xizang has 27.66 5G base stations per 10000 people, covering 74 counties (districts) and all townships in the region; The Lhasa Regional International Communication Service Import and Export Bureau has started operation, reducing cross-border network transmission latency to within 20 milliseconds; Establish and operate the autonomous region's big data center and the integrated government big data platform for the entire region; The core industry of the digital economy has a revenue of nearly 7.8 billion yuan, with 48 large-scale digital economy enterprises in the entire region and 2803 digital economy enterprises gathered in Lhasa High tech Zone.
