In order to promote exchanges between local Japanese construction enterprises and the construction industry in Guangdong Province, the "Guangdong Japan Construction Industry Exchange Conference" (referred to as the "Exchange Conference") jointly organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou and the Guangzhou International Exchange and Cooperation Center was held on July 26 at Guigu Science and Technology Park in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. About 70 people, including Consul General of Japan in Guangzhou, Yoshiko Takashima, Chairman of the Guangzhou International Exchange and Cooperation Center, as well as representatives and media from the construction industry of the two countries, attended the event. On the land of China, the world's tallest skyscrapers and manufacturing clusters have sprung up like mushrooms after rain, but economic fluctuations cannot be avoided. Nowadays, construction professionals from China and Japan need to gather wisdom and refine technology to prepare for the next leap. Fan Qun, Chairman of the Guangzhou International Exchange and Cooperation Center, believes that architecture is a solidified art form, a carrier of culture, and a bridge connecting the world. With the deepening development of globalization, the construction industry is also facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. I firmly believe that through this exchange meeting, not only can we enhance the friendship between the two sides, but we can also draw inspiration from the practices of the two places and promote innovation and application of construction technology. "During the exchange meeting, representatives from the construction industry of China and Japan shared their years of experience and research results; In the subsequent interactive session, construction industry professionals also had friendly exchanges and discussions with guests on the concepts, culture, technology, and other aspects of the construction industry in the two places. After the meeting, Zhang Ning, co-founder and creative director of Jimei Design Agency, told reporters from "Outlook New Era" magazine (referred to as "New Society") that the atmosphere of this exchange meeting was relaxed and interesting, and the achievements were fruitful. Both China and Japan have their own unique insights in professional planning, aesthetic understanding, and technical application in the construction industry, which also reflects the differences in the development of the construction industry between the two sides.
