On July 23rd, the 2024 Trusted Cloud Conference, hosted by the China Communications Standards Association and organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), was held in Beijing. The conference, with the theme of "Cloud opens up a new era of intelligence, trustworthy future, and common progress", released the top ten keywords of cloud computing in 2024, interpreted the "Cloud Computing White Paper (2024)", launched demonstration projects for software and hardware collaboration in the intelligent computing ecosystem, AI Cloud MSP technology service laboratory, etc., and announced the latest evaluation results and best practices of trustworthy cloud in 2024. Dai Xiaohui, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Communications Standards Association, stated that cloud computing, as a key foundation of the digital information world, plays a crucial role in promoting the deep integration of new generation information technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence with the real economy, and has become an important lever for industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as the construction of digital ecosystems. With the support and promotion of national policies, the integration and innovation of cloud computing standard system and new technologies are gradually strengthening, and the influence of standards is steadily increasing. Regarding the future standardization work in the field of cloud computing, Dai Xiaohui put forward three suggestions: firstly, implement relevant national policies and actively lead enterprises to transform from good cloud to deep cloud use. The second is to seize the opportunities of advanced technology and develop standards related to the new generation of cloud technology and applications. The third is to promote effective integration between supply and demand, and to leverage the platform role of the Promotion Committee. To this end, Wei Liang put forward three suggestions: firstly, vigorously promote enterprises to use cloud computing and enrich cloud computing products and services for various industries. The third is to continuously strengthen the construction of a security system and improve the key technology, service, and application standard system of cloud computing. The conference released the results of the trusted cloud evaluation for the first half of 2024. After more than a decade of development, Trusted Cloud has formed a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system that covers pre -, during -, and post events. It has established a comprehensive evaluation system that includes cloud infrastructure services and software, cloud native, cloud network edge, one cloud multi-core, hybrid cloud, dedicated cloud, cloud management, cloud optimization governance, cloud security, zero trust, software engineering, system stability, intelligent computing services, computing power services, computing power interconnection, industry cloud, open source governance, enterprise digitization, etc. It has become an important reference for government support, industry standards, and user selection. The conference also released the best practices for trustworthy cloud. The best practices for trustworthy cloud in 2024 are divided into three categories: technical best practices, industry service best practices, and user case best practices. This is to recognize cloud service enterprises that have made outstanding achievements in cloud technology, cloud services, cloud practices, and other aspects in the past year, and to showcase industry representative cases and achievements in a more comprehensive, systematic, and professional manner. At the meeting, the Cloud University Institute of the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications signed business cooperation agreements with Baidu AI Cloud, Zhongkeyushu and Xingyun Zhilian respectively, which will carry out technical standard formulation and industrial development research around cloud computing, open source, digital transformation and other fields, jointly enable industrial upgrading, improve the level of public services, and create a new chapter in the digital economy era. He Baohong, Director of the Institute of Cloud Computing and Big Data at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, interpreted the "Top Ten Keywords of Cloud Computing in 2024". Based on long-term research and observation of the industry, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology has extracted the top ten keywords for cloud computing in 2024: application modernization, large model cloud services, intelligent cloud integration, one cloud multi X, distributed cloud, cloud optimization governance, "cloud+application" operation security, cloud native security, industry cloud platforms, and central state-owned enterprise cloud deployment. Through the top ten keywords of this year, it can be seen that cloud computing has become the digital foundation for building flexible and efficient IT infrastructure, as well as the cornerstone for accelerating enterprise business innovation and intelligent upgrading. This year's "2024 Trusted Cloud Conference" lasted for two days.
