In October 2023, Guangzhou Financial Development Service Center (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Jinfu") joined hands with China Financial Education Development Foundation to carry out the "Financial Education Project" youth financial literacy education project. At present, the project is halfway through and has successfully landed in 25 schools in Guangdong, covering multiple cities such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, and Zhuhai. The cumulative number of classes has exceeded 230, covering nearly 2000 students of different age groups including primary school, junior high school, high school, and vocational school. It is understood that the project has initially explored the formation of a financial literacy education "financial service model", highlighting the advantages of financial education characteristics and effectively realizing the transformation of achievements. This project has received strong attention and support from the education department and schools. It is reported that Guangzhou Jinfu has innovatively implemented the "Golden Education Project" through the model of "national level public welfare projects+Guangzhou state-owned comprehensive financial service platform+universities and young teachers", and has received high praise and strong support from provincial and municipal education departments and project partner schools. Relying on the powerful expert academic resources of the financial book "Golden Sheep Award", Guangzhou Jinfu has established a strategic cooperation relationship in financial literacy education with two major economic and financial universities, namely Huashi University and Guangwai University. Through an innovative model of "expert leadership+teacher empowerment+young teachers", it has basically established a professional teacher pool led by more than 20 expert professors and composed of nearly 100 young teachers. Since the launch of the project, the expert team has developed and designed a series of specialized and diversified financial literacy courses based on the actual situation of different project schools and the characteristics of students in different stages. Combined with the profound Lingnan financial culture, they have integrated characteristic thematic courses such as overseas Chinese criticism and patriotism. Through the joint construction of enterprises and schools, this project promotes the integration of industry and education and collaborative education. Guangzhou Jinfu has joined hands with universities to promote a new path of integrated development between industry and education through joint base construction and resource sharing. We will further carry out financial literacy education cooperation on a larger scale, in more fields, at a deeper level, and in a more practical and effective manner, effectively promoting the integration of financial literacy education into the national education system. The project provides teacher empowerment for schools through diversified online and offline forms, solves the difficulties and pain points of financial literacy professional teachers, realizes the "hematopoietic function", promotes the comprehensive improvement of the quality and level of financial literacy education, and promotes the sustainable and high-quality development of financial literacy education on campus. Guangzhou Jinfu has innovated the collaborative education practice model of "expert led street+youth league committee organization+young teacher cultivation" nationwide, cultivating a group of young talents who understand financial literacy education through professional practice, project practice, and growth practice, namely a team of young teachers who understand finance, teaching, and management. The relevant person in charge of Guangzhou Jinfu stated that the next step will be to adhere to the concept of "finance for the people, working together to educate people", cooperate with partner universities, further promote the specific implementation and guarantee work of the "Financial Education Project", carry out deeper exchanges and cooperation in financial literacy education, study and practice, and teacher empowerment, effectively promote the integration of financial literacy education into the national education system, and achieve comprehensive improvement in the quality and level of financial literacy education.
