We must continue to strengthen the work measures for weak links such as floods in small and medium-sized rivers, flood control in small and medium-sized reservoirs, mountain floods and geological disasters, and urban and rural waterlogging, and decisively transfer the threatened population. In response to the severe rainstorm and flood disasters in Baoji, Shaanxi Province and other places, the Office of the National Committee for Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief, the Emergency Management Department, together with the State Food and Materials Reserve Bureau, allocated 55000 pieces of relief tents, folding beds, summer quilts, quilts, family emergency kits, mobile lighting equipment and other central relief materials for resettlement, to support the local authorities to do a good job in the emergency relocation of disaster victims and basic living assistance. At the request of the Henan Provincial Flood Control Bureau, the National Flood Control Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management, together with the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau, urgently allocated central emergency rescue and relief materials such as rubber boats, outboard motors, and drainage pumps to support local flood control and rescue efforts.
