On July 16th, the second Liwan Nanhai Youth Science and Technology Research and Learning Camp was held under the theme of "Pursuing Dreams Together and Lighting up the Future". During the event, 80 teachers and students from Liwan, Guangzhou and Nanhai, Foshan visited a national laboratory, a science popularization base, and experienced an intangible cultural heritage project to experience aesthetic education and embark on an immersive and experiential journey of technology and art research. At Guangdong Weitai Biotechnology Co., Ltd., students visited the science popularization exhibition hall, comprehensive cell bank, and cell preparation and storage center, and listened to Dr. Wu Yuanwu's lecture on the basic knowledge of cell technology and the current situation and prospects of cell storage and application. Especially the scientific experiment of "frozen fish resurrection" has opened the eyes of students, deepened their understanding of cell cryopreservation technology, and allowed them to experience the magical charm of biological science. Students observe the world under a microscope at Jihua Laboratory, where they closely observe high-tech research achievements such as OLED inkjet printing equipment, new non inflatable tires, dual arm industrial robots, 3D printing equipment, and the "Foshan No.1" satellite model. At Libai Technology Group, Zhang Mimin, Chief Engineer of the Group's Core Technology Research Institute and PhD in Life Chemistry from the University of Tokyo in Japan, had a face-to-face exchange with the students. Subsequently, the R&D engineers of the group demonstrated the technical principles of laundry detergent and detergent beads to students on site, popularizing scientific knowledge such as how adding efficient biological enzymes to laundry detergent can penetrate deep into clothing fibers and dissolve various common stains. The R&D technicians of Libai Technology Group explain scientific knowledge to students, and the summer overture plays. The feast of art comes in a continuous stream, and students enter the beautiful world constructed by artists. In the White Goose Pond area of Guangdong Art Museum, students walked through the exhibition hall, watched many theme exhibitions such as "Rising the Pearl River" and "City Chain", stopped among the masterpieces of Chinese painting masters, talked with them in the air, and felt the influence of art. Zhou Chengjie, the municipal inheritor of Guangcai, led students to experience Guangcai techniques at the Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum. Under the guidance of Professor Zhou Chengjie's team, students experienced the painting of intangible cultural heritage Guangcai and gained a deeper understanding of the aesthetic value of excellent traditional culture through DIY. This event is organized under the guidance of the Organization Department of the Liwan District Committee of the Communist Party of China in Guangzhou and the Organization Department of the Nanhai District Committee of the Communist Party of China in Foshan. It is jointly organized by the Liwan District Science and Technology Association of Guangzhou, Nanhai District Science and Technology Association of Foshan, Liwan District Education Bureau of Guangzhou, and Nanhai District Education Bureau of Foshan.
