Green, environmentally friendly and dust-free, Qianhai construction site has clever tricks

2024-07-17

How to achieve green, environmentally friendly and dust-free construction on construction sites? There are clever techniques for construction at the Qianhai site. Recently, let's take a closer look at the Shenzhen Future Science and Technology City Jing Er Road Project (Phase II) constructed by China Railway First Group. Entering the construction site gate, the automated sprinkler system installed around the site continuously sprays clean water outward, and the sprayed water mist presses down all the dust raised on the ground. In addition, the dust online monitoring system erected at the construction site gate clearly reports noise, PM2.5, PM10 and other data. It is reported that in the list of the top ten construction sites for dust pollution prevention and control in 2024 released by the Bao'an Management Bureau of the Shenzhen Ecological Environment Bureau, this project has been awarded the top ten construction sites for two consecutive quarters. This project is located in the Dachanwan area of Bao'an District and is one of the first key projects launched by the construction unit. The prevention and control of construction dust in this area is a key area of concern for the city, district housing and construction bureaus, and local government units. There are many construction units, limited sites, and few access roads in the area. The project is located adjacent to the construction access road, with frequent traffic from dump trucks, cement tankers, container trucks, and social vehicles, posing a great challenge to the dust control of the project. In the face of challenges, China Railway First Group Shenzhen Jing'er Road Project implements the requirements of creating a civilized construction site, establishes and improves the system of civilized construction, fulfills the main responsibility of pollution control on construction sites, and strictly implements the "eight musts" and "seven 100%" work of dust control; Dust control in the construction site is dynamic and static. All roads, material stacking areas and living quarters in the site are hardened with concrete. Bare soil stacking is effectively covered with green dense mesh dust-proof net. At the same time, each entrance and exit of the road is equipped with fog gun, and the spraying spray is turned on to keep wet operation in the site; Installation of automatic sprinkler dust reduction device on the construction site fence, working 24 hours a day without interruption; Sprinkler trucks are responsible for watering the road surface at designated times and locations; A dedicated person is on duty at the fully automatic car washing platform to inspect passing construction vehicles one by one. Vehicles are required to enter the washing platform for washing and spraying, ensuring cleanliness, no mud on the road, and no dust; It is also equipped with an automatic warning system for excessive dust. The relevant equipment automatically turns on according to the warning situation, which not only effectively improves the efficiency of dust control, but also saves water; Develop reward and punishment measures for dust control for each work team, and issue safety production point cards to teams and workers who have implemented dust reduction work to exchange for various daily necessities and heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies. This not only innovates management measures but also strengthens the environmental awareness of each team and worker. In addition, the project department has also reused construction waste soil and created a small vegetable garden on the construction site, encouraging everyone to plant corn, beans, eggplants, chives, and watermelons together. The harvested fruits and vegetables are provided to project workers and workers for additional meals and tasting. This approach not only promotes environmental protection, but also enhances the happiness and sense of achievement of project participants. (New Society)
